After the Bugatti Veyron, and the recently launched Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport, another car hits the 1000 hp limit: the Lamborghini Gallardo. With a little help from Heffner Performance, the Gallardo you see in the photos is powered by the same 5.0-liter high-rev V10 engine as the "standard” version but with a little sweetening from Heffner develops now an astonishing 1005 hp and 765lb-ft.
