; "Seat Leon 1 P FR tuned by JE DESIGN") German tuner JE DESIGN has presented its recent take on Seat's "warmed-up" Seat Leon 1 P FR hatchback. Considerable boost of power for the hatch's 2.0-liter oil-burner makes the Leon real hot, but it is the new bespoke scissor doors what makes the little vehicle a real head-turner. Besides the new doors, the Seat Leon 1 P FR has received even more aggressive front and rear spoilers, new front grille with Seat's logo removed, new four-pipe stainless steel rear silencer with chrome-plated tailpipes, and headlight eyebrows that give the Leon more suspicious look. ; "Seat Leon 1 P FR tuned by JE DESIGN") Instead of original 170 bhp, the souped-up 2.0-liter TDI engine now generates more impressive 193 bhp of power and enormous 302 lb-ft (410 Nm) of torque. That's enough to make the hatch jump from zero to 62 mph in only 7.6 seconds and achieve a maximum speed of 140 mph (224 km/h). Of course, JE DESIGN also offers a choice of five new sets of 17-, 18- and 19-inch wheels, new coil-over suspension kit, which lowers the vehicle's ground clearance by 35 to 65 mm, and an optional 4-piston sports braking system (330 x 28 mm) on the front axle, AllCarNews is reporting.
