Street Attack LS7 engine package from Katech Performance |
Katech Performance of Michigan has unleashed yet another member of its growing "LS7 Arsenal" family of crate engines. Called "Street Attack LS", the package joins its three older brothers -- "Air Attack," "Sneak Attack" and "Track Attack" engines.
Built with DIY tuners in mind, the "Street Attack LS7" features forged pistons with 11:1 compression, solid small-end rod bushings, a street-optimized camshaft and valve-train enhancements. It can be used to tune-up such monsters as the Chevrolet Camaro, Corvette, Firebird or GTO.
The Street Attack LS7 engine features 427-cubic-inch-displacement with 4.125-inch bore and 4.00-inch stroke, is capable of producing up to 600 horsepower and is suitable for everyday driving, Inside Line is reporting.
